The Shippers Council of Eastern Africa is a business membership organization whose mandate is to advocate for an improved policy and trade environment, educate shippers on their rights and obligations in import and export trade, interpret government regulations and procedures, and provide a platform for sharing experiences through networking forums, and training and awareness workshops.
Tanzania Association of Oil Marketing Companies (TAOMAC) was established on 23 March 2000 under the Societies Act, CAP 337.TAOMAC promotes a sustainable and competitive downstream petroleum sector where oil marketing companies (OMCs) operate ethically and fairly. It provides a platform for members to address common industry issues and offers support services, including legal, information, and market intelligence.
TAOMAC also serves as an intermediary between OMCs, regulators, and government ministries, ensuring that legislation, regulations, and public policies reflect the interests of its members.
The Uganda Chamber of Energy and Minerals (UCEM), established in 2010, is the leading organization dedicated to advancing Uganda's natural resources sector, with a focus on the oil, petroleum, mineral, and energy industries. For over a decade, UCEM has played a pivotal role in driving growth, development, and innovation in these sectors through steadfast advocacy and dedicated support for its members. By fostering collaboration, promoting sustainable development, and creating an enabling environment for investment, UCEM empowers stakeholders to thrive in a competitive global market.

HOMIK Oil and Gas Facility Engineering School is a Federal Government-approved institution focused on industrial and technical education in Oil & Gas and Marine Facilities. Its curriculum covers Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation/Automation engineering. As a subsidiary of Homik Engineering Limited, it is grounded in industry expertise and practical experience.
The school equips students with the knowledge and skills required for efficient petroleum exploration and processing in Nigeria and globally. Through research, practical training, and retraining, it develops professionals who meet industry needs and deliver value to stakeholders.
